NEXT SOCIAL TUESDAY 8 MARCH

The next social's this coming Tuesday at Aqua from 6.30pm.  The flyers are going up late (tonight).

We need to get together as a house given our service charge increase with the dodgy electric bill that's not ours. There's also the chance to get £30 membership to the new Millbank Curzon cinema - usually £50 but you have to sign-up on the night.

CHRISTMAS PARTY: TUESDAY 7 DECEMBER AT AQUA

Two big dates coming up and one big event to celebrate.  First, Hanover House is approaching her fifth birthday with many residents no doubt missing those snagging lists;)  Second, it's Christmas and the grown ups residents association is having a party. To that end we've negotiated with Aqua that there'll be happy hour prices all evening and they'll lay on some free nibbles and discount cards for 2011 - online registration required but it's a genuine offer.

Many have moved on and we've many new faces so please note that this event is OPEN TO ALL. 

THE BIG LUNCH PRIZE DRAW

Just so there's no claims of them running of with the £79 raised, below are pics of Ros and Nigel doing the draw.  If you haven't heard, you probably didn't win.  Cash went to the Big Issue, based just across the road.

SUNDAY 19 JULY 

You may have heard of The Big Lunch, a great idea to get people to meet their neighbours - a good community event basically.  Some neighbourhoods are doing bunting and tables outside but heck, we're St George so we've got two onsite restaurants on the case for us.

Aqua and the Riverside are doing special menus and there will be a raffle!  It's the our first bash at a Big Lunch so we're seeing how we go - so get down there and say hello.  

When?  Sunday 19th July from 1pm+  None of us want to be there alone so let's aim for 1 and we can have a fun Sunday together.  

DRINKS SATURDAY

Some neighbours are getting together this Saturday (9th) from 8pm in the Riverside. Drinks, social, chat... All very welcome!

SUNDAY SOCIAL/ MEETING | SUN 3 FEB

New Year New Neighbours!  New to Hanover House or just lost touch with everybody? Annoyed about the above inflation service charge increase?  Well after some lift chatter a load of us thought it would be good to hook up in the Riverside on Sunday 3 February at 4pm.   

Don't be shy. It's a great way to meet those strangers from the lift and discuss collective action on ongoing issues. 

Looking forward to seeing some old and some of our newer faces!

MEET YOUR NEIGHBOURS

We haven't had one of our fun Sunday Socials in ages and with so many new people in the building, some folks have suggested we have one on...

SUNDAY 1 JULY, 7PM+ at THE RIVERSIDE

If you've never been it's very informal, a great way to get to know those strangers in the lift and, if you're new, find lots of useful stuff out.

We'll reserve a corner nearer so just look lost and somebody'll wave at you.

Brighten up the darker nights and come along to your Sunday Social - this very Sunday at the Riverside from 8pm+.

No serious agenda, just general pooling of St George, Peverel and Notting Hill horror stories;)
