Great news - you no longer have to trail over to the tube station or take you mail to work to post it. As of now, there's a shiny new red (plastic) post box in the concierge office. It's just to the left as you go in and you can post stuff 24.7 - assuming they're there... It will be collected by Royal Mail at 5.30pm Mon-Fri and at noon on Saturday.
"Continue reading" the official press release - it's the same as the hard copy on the mail room door in the entrance hall.
Several residents have reported problems with the mail - basically the postie appears incapable of putting even perfectly addressed mail into the right mailbox. Whether this is a problem at the sorting office or with him/ her, who knows.
It will only stop when they get told to/ trained to do it right. So, if anybody gets any time, please go to Royal Mail's website to register a complaint or ring them on 08457 740 740.
In the meantime, thanks to everybody who is going to the trouble of popping mail wrongly delivered to themselves in the right mailbox - apparently quite the challenge.
