One of our folks needs some help. Here's what she's asking:
Hi all,
I'm a Hanover House resident and I'd like to sell my shared-ownership flat. However, I'm struggling to get an accurate valuation for it. The problem stems from Notting Hill Housing's policy that the valuer must provide three comparable properties on which to base their valuation. It seems the valuer can find no similar properties that have been sold nearby in the past few months, despite the fact that Notting Hill continues to sell properties in the new wing, Aquarius House. As it transpires, Notting Hill does not release/publish its sales figures, so getting an accurate valuation for my property is virtually impossible.
I'd love to hear from anyone who is selling or who recently bought a studio/one-bedroom flat in the development, and is happy to disclose what they are selling it for/paid for it. My email is helencrockett@hotmail.com.
