Yes, just a heads-up as over drinks at the Riverside we all realised that we'd had a horror of a time at Hudson's. Do please post a comment of your good experiences...

Personally, I have nothing but praise for Hudsons. During my time here, I have had a spring clean -fantastic; regular monthly three hour clean -unfailingly good with every part of the flat spotless and at £24 this is the going rate; ties cleaned and mended -they all look like new; suits cleaned -excellent job; shoes mended and re-soled -another good job. I find them absolutely reliable and trustworthy; they will even leave things for collection with the conscierge and let me pay next time they are open.

Hudson's have put up their prices for the second time this year. 5 shirts was £10 4 months ago, then it went to £11, now it's 12.50.
Walk across the river and the going rate is £7.99 - or there are companies who will pick them up and return them for under a tenner. I carried on using them when they moved to £11 as the convenience of an on-site shop is something to support - but this is a joke.

Agreed re: clothes cleaning standard... not a great service overall and disappointed with the cleaning... not that cheap either for what you get
