Yes. Ever. Since mankind began. It turns everything upside
down, it has been mankind's dream since we first looked up at the stars.
Today I learnt three things. Two are personal and I love
them both, the third, well, I do not understand why it has not been headlines
worldwide. Sorry Syria, you are boring.
New Scientist reports that NASA are working on a 'warp
drive'. Yep, what Captain Kirk uses to power the USS Enterprise. The research
is led by Harold 'Sonny' White and he plans to start experiments very soon. It will
exploit a loophole in Einstein's law of General Relativity.
So, if they are right, we will be able to
Travel to Mars in 5 minutes
Go to Alpha Centauri and come back in one year
Send probes to the centre of the galaxy to check
out all that dark matter
Find a nice planet to stick all the bad guys on
where they can live unhappily ever after

I went to Pleasuredrome on Sunday afternoon and had a pleasant hour or two there. The staff were lovely and helpful, the place was very clean. I spent some time in a cubicle with a charming young man called Ali. I soon discovered that used condoms, condom wrappers and used lube sachets could be pushed out under the door and they would be taken away by the attentive condom boy within minutes. I've never had such good service in a sauna.
There have been some very negative comments on Discodamaged about Pleasuredrome. I find them false and malicious. You can go outside for a smoke. The man at the cash desk told me. It is very clean. Entrance is £15 which is a good deal cheaper than the £19 they now ask at Chariots Vauxhall. And they have a bar and they have lockable cubicles which you can hire for 2 hours for only £3. They do not have wifi, but they are "being rewired for wifi as we speak". There is indeed no cash back, but you can pay for drinks etc by card.
There is also a large whirlpool, steam and dry saunas and about 40 cubicles altogether. I could not find a darkroom.
Bottom line: Probably the best value for money sauna in London.
