Barcode Soho was our first ever regular bar in London and we're gutted to see it gone. But we're pleased we don't need to now say Barcode Vauxhall as that was exhausting. It's been going FIVE years and really helped solidify Vauxhall as a proper place to go out. A bar and you get to keep your clothes on. Most of the time.
Anyhoo, "continue reading" for details of this Saturday's birthday bash and news on their new Friday nighter, React Now - Rich B, Hugh Stevenson and more. Yay!
The Equal Love petition was launched yesterday. You and yours can sign it here...
If you're not up on this campaign "continue reading" for Tatchell's Take On It. To summarise, it's a campaign pushing for same sex and opposite sex civil partnerships - we should all be allowed to commit outside of the organised church. Geddit?
You can also watch some this short film, "like anyone else" produced by womenwithamoviecamera - it was shot on the day of Royal Wedding and features plenty footage shot around the RVT.
Not one for crop topped Ritolin'd Glee fans but we're delighted to see Invert holding the alternative end up and giving it a shake. Check it out if you fancy something different from wot you always do on a Friday.
They say: 5 Trannies from far and wide compete for the annual competition for title of Miss Sink the Pink. It has changed the lives of past winners Mr Teds Walker (currently filming Star Whores 3) and Ingenue St John who has starred on broadway in Chicago!!

We've been updating the diary heavily and thought we'd flag up that a) Bodyshakers is now opening at midnight and b) the Backstreet's smoking fetish night Ignite is opening at 10pm. We've NO word on Union's plans yet.
We know many folks now only get their stuff from Facebook so we're going to put everything we post on the main blog up there now - we thought you wouldn't want listings but we've been told we're wrong. So, we're doing it proper now despite thinking it's most hellish piece of teenage shi*e created since Justin Beaver.
PS! Oh and could you please LIKE US or f*ck off and never talk to us again you c*nts. We said we liked you at lunch and if you don't we'll DISLIKE YOU and tell everybody you smell and that you snogged that minger up the bike sheds. The button's up to the right there and our entire self worth depends on you clicking that button OK???? We'll be checking every 3 minutes.
Yip, we knew somebody would agree with us and it's our human rights hero Peter Tatchell. We just reckon you're a vile guerilla bride if you want that church wedding but he's a bit more articulate about it...
Fetish Week so it couldn't be a better time to revisit this classic! They've done that digitally remastering thing (something about fingering your master which just doesn't make sense?!) and are showing it all month at a cute cinema in town.
