MON 3rd Nov - THE CHOLMONDELEYS & THE FEATHERSTONEHAUGHS present RUSSIAN ROULETTE
A game in 6 rounds: Cabaret*Live Music*DJs
... Live Music by The Accumulator, Choreography by Lea Anderson,
Design: Simon Vincenzi, Musical Director: Steve Blake
Fyodor Dostoyevsky was an obsessive gamble who in desperation to pay his debtors would bet his publisher at long odds on an early completion of his novels.
These extremely tight deadlines meant his work could not be revised or edited and this resulted in an atmosphere of exhilaration and momentum within passages of his novels.
Inspired by Dostoyevsky’s audacious recklessness and his risk taking in the creative process we shall we rushing headlong into the breakneck construction and precipitous performance of six ribald and dizzying cabarets over ten weeks of escalating mayhem in the intimate, intoxicating and dare we say Dostoyevskian setting of the Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
Eight Cholmondeley and Featherstonehaughs performers are joined by two special guests for each Round with The Accumulator providing live and loud music! Doors at 8pm – and DJs take you through to midnight.
